"Station 87...motor vehicle accident with entrapment...I-80 20 mile marker...car vs. tractor trailor..."
This is not an uncommon call for this department. Covering a large section of 2 major interstates and numerous state highways, this dept. frequently responds to accidents with heavy entrapment.

Structure Fires

Structure fires are a common call for a lot of fire departments. At East End the question is never "Can we put the fire out?"  It's..."How quickly and efficiently can we get it done?" Training, equipment and good command structure are essential. See the structure fire page for pics and more...

Specialty Rescues

Occasionally we are faced with an abnormally challenging rescue. This requires some quick thinking and ingenuity. Click the speciality rescues page to see some pics of suprising calls we've had.
